Eric Bailly has assured Manchester United supporters that he is fine after he was withdrawn late on in the first half of the Reds' win over Watford.
Bailly received treatment after colliding with Dean Henderson and was eventually replaced by Harry Maguire as the Reds secured passage to the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 1-0 win over the Championship side.
The centre-back has been in good form recently but his substitution prompted fears another injury might stall his stop-start career at Old Trafford.
Yet Bailly told fans he is fine in a message on Twitter: "Good job by the team to advance in the FA Cup. I am OK, it was just a knock."
United are preparing for a huge week as they play Burnley on Tuesday knowing that they will move up to first in the Premier League table if they avoid defeat.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men then travel to Anfield next weekend in a clash between the league's top two sides.
Speaking on BT Sport after the win over Watford, Solskjaer played down fears that Bailly may miss the upcoming matches through concussion protocols, revealing that it was actually a neck problem that forced the centre-back off the pitch.
Solskjaer said: "It's his neck, I think. His head's fine but I've not spoken to him. There's no concussion or anything like that."
