Eric Bailly expresses frustration after own goal in Manchester United derby loss

Eric Bailly has expressed his frustration after his own goal in Manchester United's derby loss this afternoon.

Manchester City were dominant at Old Trafford all game long, with Bailly turning into his own net within the first few minutes of the game.

The own goal was the start of the end for United's hopes, as City ran out 2-0 winners at Old Trafford.

Bernardo Silva's goal late in the first-half secured the victory, but the momentum had well and truly swung City's way, and stayed with them, after Bailly's own goal.

The Ivorian has taken to social media to apologise for the own goal.

He said: "Nobody is more frustrated than me. I have to keep my head up, no excuses."

United will now break up for a week as players go off for international duty.

The tough schedule will return once they're back though, with Watford, Chelsea and Arsenal coming up in their next three games.

Bailly will likely see an extended run in the team with Raphael Varane set to be out until December with a hamstring injury.
