Eric Bailly confirms Manchester United dressing room change after Cristiano Ronaldo return

Eric Bailly has confirmed that Manchester United's players have stopped eating dessert in the Carrington canteen.

Cristiano Ronaldo sealed a sensational return to United on deadline day and has proved outstanding on the pitch this term, however, his return also sparked rumours that the Reds' players had stopped eating dessert after training to mimic his eating habits.

The 36-year-old still operates at an elite level - Ronaldo has scored 13 goals this term - despite being in the autumn of his career.

Reports suggested that United's players changed their diets after Ronaldo joined the club and Bailly has now confirmed that's true.

"No, we've stopped [eating dessert]," Bailly told Poet & Vuj.

"All the players stopped because it's good, you need to change sometime.

"Ronaldo has been the best for a long time, why? Your body, you need to take care of it."
