Bristol Rovers boss Ben Garner and new signing Erhun Oztumer have both spoken of their delight after his arrival on a season-long loan from Charlton Athletic.
The 29-year-old playmaker has joined the Gas on loan from Rovers' League One rivals ahead of the weekend clash with Burton Albion.
His arrival is something of a coup for Rovers, with Oztumer having proved himself as a goalscoring midfielder in the Championship and in League One, having had spells with the likes of Walsall, Peterborough United, Bolton Wanderers and Charlton.
And Rovers boss Garner has admitted he is delighted to have Oztumer on board at the club.
"He's a player that has great experience at this level and above. With his ability and creativity he will be a great addition to the options that we have in the attacking positions.
"We would like to thank Charlton for accommodating the loan move and we look forward to working with Erhun as we head into a busy period of fixtures."
Meanwhile, Oztumer has said he cannot wait to get started with Rovers, having spoken of a whirlwind 24 hours leading up to his signing.
"It's been so smooth, I found out yesterday and I'm here now, signed for Rovers, so I'm delighted," he told the club website.
"I spoke to Luke (Leahy) yesterday and he's been saying some great things and that it's a great club. Hopefully I can make more friends here and help the team in any way I can.
"I can use my experience in different leagues and different countries and put it into Rovers and help the team in any way, shape or form, I can't wait to get started."
