Ereck Flowers goes on expletive-filled tirade about the New York Giants fan-base

For both Landon Collins and Ereck Flowers, it was probably a bit unsettling to lose to their former team in such embarrassing fashion on Sunday. While the Washington Redskins lost 24-3 to the New York Giants, both Collins and Flowers were on the wrong side of the field, watching helplessly as their former teammates celebrated on the opposite sideline.

While Collins let his feelings be known directly after the game in the form of a skirmish on the field, Flowers waited until he was in the locker room to offer some words for the Giants and their fans.

“Once they get back to losing, the stadium will be back empty,” Flowers said, via NJ.com. “That’s how I feel about them.”

It was short, and to the point. If there were anyone who knows the true colors of the Big Blue fanbase, it’s Flowers. After being drafted by the team in the first round back in 2015, Flowers was eventually run out of town and labeled as a bust following several years of lackluster production.

“I don’t care for Giants fans,” he said. “They feel about me how I feel about dentists. I don’t care for this place much. I would’ve loved to have come out of here with a W, but it’s all good.”

So far this year, he has been one of the better lineman for the Redskins, despite low expectation early on. In the wake of Trent Williams holdout, Flowers and newly signed Donald Penn have shored up the left side of the line and played will in his absence.

“[Expletive], nobody is more happy not to be here than me,” Flowers said.  “This has been so much more of an enjoyable experience, man. I’m not looking back at my time there. Being here [with the Giants] for me was just toxic. It was toxic on the field, off the field. It doesn’t fit me.”

So far through four games, the Redskins are happy to have him.
