Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, will visit Turkey on Wednesday, announced President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday.

He told journalists that he will receive Crown Prince Mohammed at the presidential complex in Ankara.

Turkish sources said agreements will be signed during his trip.

Crown Prince Mohammed will visit Turkey as part of a regional tour that will take him to Jordan and Egypt.

Erdogan had paid a visit to Saudi Arabia in April during which he met with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulaziz bin Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed.

He then performed the Umrah in the holy city of Makkah.

Talks with Saudi officials focused on Saudi-Turkish relations and opportunities to bolster them in various fields.

The also discussed regional and international developments.
