'Erasmus +': the European exchange programme opens up to apprentices

It's a system hailed as a real chance for students to experience the life and culture of another country. Once just exclusive to university students across Europe, the Erasmus Programme is now open to students including sixth formers and apprentices. It means they'll be able to choose to spend part of their course time in another European Union member state and understand their domain from another country’s perspective.

Seen as a programme that bolsters pan-European relations, a majority of European MPs are now pushing to triple the programme's budget. Report by Julien Sauvaget and James Vasina.
