Equador editor stabbed to death

An Ecuadorean journalist who formerly edited the country's oldest newspaper has been stabbed to death. The body of Carlos Navarrete Castillo, who lost control of El Telegrafo newspaper to the government last year after a lengthy legal battle, was found in his home. There were no signs of a robbery.
