Man City took control of the Premier League title race on gameweek 29 after a weekend of derby drama as Liverpool lost top spot.
City beat Bournemouth 1-0 on Saturday to leapfrog Liverpool into top spot in the table, and the Reds' Merseyside derby draw against Everton on Sunday ensured the champions remain top with nine games to go.
Elsewhere, Arsenal and Tottenham drew 2-2 at Wembley Stadium in a feisty north London derby on Saturday.
Aaron Ramsey scored the opener in what will be his final appearance in this famous fixture, before Spurs equalised through a controversial second half penalty converted by Harry Kane. The Tottenham striker was offside before being fouled by Shkodran Mustafi.
But the drama did not then end there. Arsenal were awarded a controversial penalty of their own in stoppage time, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang saw his effort saved by Hugo Lloris. Lucas Torreira was then sent off for the Gunners in what was a feisty end to the game.
In Saturday's 3pm kick-offs, Man Utd left it late to beat Southampton 3-2 at Old Trafford to leapfrog Arsenal into fourth spot. Crystal Palace crushed Burnley at Turf Moor, while Man City, Brighton and Wolves picked up important victories before West Ham moved into the top half of the table with a comfortable win at home to Newcastle.
The derby clashes resumed on Sunday following Watford's 2-1 win over Leicester City on Brendan Rodgers' return to Premier League management.
Then, it was Sunday's derby double as Fulham - lead by Scott Parker - were much improved but lost 2-1 to Chelsea at Craven Cottage before Liverpool's draw at Everton.
