Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League table with a stunning 6-0 demolition of Chelsea on Sunday.
Man City went 4-0 up within 25 minutes at the Etihad, as Sergio Aguero completed his hat-trick in the second half to cap a win which sends the champions ahead of Liverpool on goal difference - albeit having played a game more than Jurgen Klopp's side.
Earlier in the day, Tottenham kept alive their title hopes with an unconvincing 3-1 victory over Leicester City.
On Saturday, Liverpool provisionally moved back to the top of the table with a thumping victory over Bournemouth.
Elsewhere, Man Utd moved into the top four for the first time this season with a 3-0 victory at Fulham, having won 25 points from a possible 27 under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
West Ham drew away at Crystal Palace, while Arsenal kept their hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League alive with a comfortable win at Huddersfield.
Cardiff City secured a crucial win on the road with victory at Southampton with a winning goal struck in stoppage time, while Watford inflicted more misery on their former boss Marco Silva by beating Everton at Vicarage Road.
