Scenic Scottish location named one of the UK's best hikes near a train station
Loch Lomond, to the northwest of Glasgow, was the only Scottish hike near a train station named among the best in the UK by The Telegraph.
Discussing the scenic destination, the newspaper said that this is no "mere rail walk, this is a train, foot and ferry adventure."
According to the title, in season and on certain days, waterbuses "pottle" across Loch Lomond from Tarbet station to Inversnaid. They also sail back less frequently from Rowardennan.
