EPIC Irish Emigration Museum is hosting a number of fantastic kids friendly events

If you're looking for something to do with the kids this August then read on because one of Dublin's most popular museums is hosting a range of fantastic events.

The EPIC Irish Emigration Museum is running a number of exciting kid-friendly events this month.

If you're not too keen on being outdoors, why not sign up for the online Adventurers' Camp where your little ones will learn how to "explore the real way – using notebook and pen to capture real-time discoveries".

The camp will run from 11 am to 12.45 pm from August 10 to 12.

Tiny tots can enjoy the virtual interactive pirate storytelling event where they will join Anne Bonny and go on adventures as they engage in a whole host of arts, sensory and mathematics tasks – all you need is some paper, crayons and your imagination to bring the story to life!

You can also explore the history of the Docklands on Heritage Week Family Day on August 15 at the museum.

There will be a number of fascinating pop-up activities designed to bring the history of the Docklands to life before your very eyes.

Prices range from free to 5 euro to 20 euro for a 3-day ticket.
