Viewers tuning into Alan Carr's Epic Gameshow on Saturday evening were excited, as the host took on Take Your Pick this week.
The series which aired in the 50's and 60's was hosted by Des O'Connor on ITV.
It was the first UK gameshow to offer cash prizes, as contestants attempted to win big prizes.
Alan Carr had a go at hosting the series years on from its last appearance on TV, but he gave it a shake-up.
It started off very familiar, with the yes-no round, where Alan like Des asked the contestants a series of questions, with them not allowed to answer with a yes or a no.

Those that made it through this round were then given the option to win a prize, with a modern twist this time around.
Like the past, a series of numbered boxes were available for each contestant to choose a key for - with them eventually unlocking the box and winning its contents.
Prior to this, Alan offered each hopeful a cash prize in exchange for their keys, with said hopefuls having to decide whether to take the money or try for the prize.

While some boxes contained huge prizes including £1,000 or gadgets and tech, others contained items such as used toothbrushes.
Regardless of what they won in this round, the contestants then moved on to the penultimate round where they chose a coloured key.
The person who correctly chose the winning key would go on to win a series of prizes - if they picked the right boxes in the final round.

But there was something missing from the original format of the show that left many disappointed if not confused.
Going back to the second round with the numbered boxes, fans quickly noticed there was a box missing from the segment.
There was normally a box 13, which could only be accessed if the person chose a box containing a key to it.
But this time around, there was no box 13 - with many predicting the coloured boxes were its replacement.
Taking to Twitter, fans questioned the shake-up as others admitted they weren't impressed by it.
One fan said: "What happened to box 13?!"

Another tweeted: "There’s no Box 13 - about as faithful to the original show as you can get!"
A third commented: "Looks like they dropped box 13, I wonder why."
Alan Carr's Epic Gameshow continues Saturdays at 7:30pm on ITV.
