An epic cruise will sail around the world in 111 days, exploring 50 destinations across SIX continents along the way - but those who want to be onboard will need to fork out at least £12,254.
Princess Cruises has revealed the first details of its World Cruise in 2023, onboard luxury ship Island Princess, with stops in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, South America and North America.
The 111-day itinerary, a round trip from North America, will feature heaps of breathtaking stops including visits from the likes of the ancient archaeological city of Petra in Jordan to the awe-inspiring Mount Etna in Italy.
It's definitely one where guests can make a dent in the bucket list, especially considering the itinerary will feature 21 UNESCO World Heritage Sites!

Then of course there are plenty of tempting overnight stays in cities from bustling sun-soaked Dubai, to beautiful Venice where a gondola ride will be on the cards.
The cruise will cover an impressive 34,500 nautical miles during the journey, and will even cross the Equator twice.

Then of course there's the ship itself - and Island Princess has everything you could want for a dreamy luxury sailing.
Island Princess can host up to 2,200 guests and 900 crew members, and boasts a wide array of luxurious cabins over 700 of which offer balconies.

The ship also offers up a wide array of dining options whether passengers are in the mood for pizza, fine dining, or a laidback bar and grill experience. Oh, and for those with a sweet tooth the bakery and the Chocolate Journeys programme are sure to appeal!
Other highlights for guests include an onboard casino, art gallery, theatre and a freshwater pool.

World Cruise passengers will also be able to enjoy talks by authors, artists and explorers at the 'Encounters with Discovery' series alongside culinary demonstrations, cooking classes, special-themed menus.
With so many destinations and experiences on offer, it's no surprise that the cruise comes with quite a hefty price tag.
The 111-night sailing starts from £14,134pp (working out at approximately £127pp a night), departing from Fort Lauderdale.

However, guests can also choose for a 97-night itinerary from £12,254 (approximately £126pp a night) from Los Angeles, where the ship will head after leaving Fort Lauderdale.
The cruise bookings will open on February 10, 2021 - you can find out more on princess.com/world.
At the time of writing, the FCO currently advises against cruise ship travel during the pandemic.
