Melbourne architects John Wardle are the first to present their designs for the Ephemeral Architecture Commission, a temporary outdoor installation. The commission is a new initiative from the National Gallery of Victoria and aims to offer emerging and established practitioners the opportunity to showcase their designs in the NGV’s Grollo Equiset Garden.
Inspired by the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Wardle’s innovative steel, timber and textile structure creates a theatrical centrepiece and offers shade and a place for performance.
