PATNA: The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) of the state police probing the BPSC paper leak case has arrested one more accused, Sanjay Kumar (32) in this connection. The question papers of the BPSC 67th preliminary test held on May 8 had been leaked.
Four government officials among 11 persons have been arrested in the case.
Sanjay, a native of Gaya district, was arrested from his rented accommodation in the house of one Ajay Kumar at Machuatoli in Patna.
EOU sleuths found evidence of telephonic conversations between Sanjay and the kingpin of the case, Anand Gaurav alias Pintu Yadav, on the examination day. Sanjay had himself appeared at the examination as a dummy candidate. He was with Gaurav that day.
Pintu and the other accused searched the examinees desirous of getting leaked questions and collected money from them in lieu of help.
