Enzio Boldewijn's agent considering winger's options amid rumoured Lincoln City interest

Enzio Boldewijn's agent is believed to be considering the Notts County winger's options amid rumoured interest from League Two champions Lincoln City.

Speculation had mounted the Imps were interested in signing the Dutchman to beef up their attack as they look to continue their meteoric rise under boss Danny Cowley.

But it is understood Lincoln have had no contact with Notts over a move for Boldewijn, who still has two years left to run on his contract at Meadow Lane.

Notts would certainly require a fee for the winger, who made 39 appearances last season and scored six goals.

He started the season in impressive fashion with a wonderful strike in a 3-2 defeat at Cambridge and followed it up with fine goals against Exeter and Stevenage.

But a serious knee injury derailed his progress in November as he was kept out of action for three months eventually returning in January.

A brilliant goal in a 2-1 win at Forest Green showcased Boldewijn’s ability, but he lost his place in the side at the end of the season.

He had to be content with a place on the bench although came on as a substitute  for the final game of the season at Swindon as Notts slipped out of the league.
