Enzio Boldewijn insists Chesterfield display must be benchmark for Notts County's promotion push

Enzio Boldewijn says Notts County must try to replicate their Chesterfield performance on a weekly basis as they look to claim a top-seven finish.

The Magpies saw off their local rivals with a fine display last weekend  to secure a 3-0 victory which lifted them to sixth in the National League table.

Boldewijn played a crucial role in the win as he scored a majestic 25-yard effort while also hit the bar with a free-kick in the first half.

It was an excellent performance from Neal Ardley’s side and Boldewijn says Notts must strive to demonstrate that kind of quality on a weekly basis from now until the of the campaign.

“We cannot drop points,”

“We need to turn up every week like we did in the Chesterfield game, and I know it’s not going to be easy.

“But everyone is on the same page. We know we have to push on right until the end of the season.

“I will be happy to do my bit for the team.”
