Entries open for the Digital Entrepreneur Awards 2019

Entries for the UK’s longest standing national tech awards are now open for the Digital Entrepreneur Awards (DEAs) 2019.

The awards, now in their 15th year, cover 20 categories encompassing every area of today’s digital business ecosystem from enigmatic leadership to forward thinking development and cutting-edge creative.

Recently added categories include the AI Innovation Award and the Tech for Good Award, which honours the technology and innovation driving social change.

The DEAs recognise entrepreneurs, creatives and developers from across the country who have achieved online business excellence.

Winning a DEA has been the springboard to success for a huge number of businesses, with previous winners including PrettyLittleThing, Social Chain, Forever Unique, British Heart Foundation, Sainsbury’s and Mothercare.

Seema and Sandeep Malhotra, co-founders of eCommerce fashion retailer Forever Unique, picked up the coveted Digital Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Seema Malhotra said: “It means the world for us to win the Digital Entrepreneur of the Year. Forever Unique has been built on hard work, persistence, an amazing team and passion. We never give up and this award is testament to that.”

Juliet Barratt, co-founder of sport nutrition brand Grenade, which won Digital Business of the Year, said: “This win is such great recognition of a team that works really hard. Our main aim now is to push Grenade even further and reach even more people. Winning this award is a great start.”

The DEAs entry process involves just three simple questions and the closing date for entries is August 5.

The winners of the Digital Entrepreneur Awards are to be announced at a glittering ceremony at The Principal Hotel, Manchester on November 21.

With over 500 high-profile industry leaders, digital experts and entrepreneurs in attendance, the exclusive awards are a great opportunity for exposure, publicity and networking.

The DEAs are sponsored by Manchester technology firm UKFast, with the Manchester Evening News as media partner.
