It's hoped a new lease of life can be breathed into a city centre restaurant which hasn't reopened since being closed during the covid lockdown.
Popular Italian restaurant brand Di Maggio's have a number of well-known eateries across the city. However sadly their Theatreland restaurant, located on West Nile Street near Cineworld, hasn't traded since covid first hit in March 2020.
The space is now being advertised for lease, with the property agents seeking 'a new and enthusiastic tenant'.

Being marketed by CDLH Leisure & Hospitality Surveyors, the restaurant, which seats 100 covers, is available for a rental of £69,000 per annum, with premium offers of over £95,000 invited.

They say: "The business previously traded as a Di Maggio's restaurant, although all Di Maggio's branding has now been removed.
"The premises remain in excellent order and are fully fitted, furnished and equipped, ready to trade.
"A premium is being sought for the benefit of the fully fitted furnished and equipped premises, with a long, unexpired lease term.
"The business ceased trading in March 2020 due to COVID restrictions.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for an incoming tenant to immediately commence trading in a first class location and create an excellent long term business."
A household name in the Glasgow hospitality business, Di Maggio's are currently trading out of their Royal Exchange Square restaurant and in East Kilbride, while their Shawlands Cross branch, on Pollokshaws Road, is currently listed as 'temporarily closed'.
