Hunter Business Chamber is urging eligible businesses to register for the government's Dine & Discover vouchers before the scheme begins in March.
The government is giving four $25 vouchers to every NSW resident over the age of 18 to spend on cafes, bars, entertainment and travel.
Dine & Discover is on trial this month in parts of Sydney, Broken Hill and Bega.
Residents and businesses can access the scheme only through a MyServiceNSW account.
"Businesses should register as soon as possible so they are ready for customers to redeem their vouchers," chamber chief executive officer Bob Hawes said.
"We want to get the community back in numbers to their favourite cafes, restaurants, cinemas and recreation venues."
Residents receive two vouchers to spend from Monday to Thursday in cafes, restaurants, pubs and clubs and another two to spend any day on cinemas, museums, galleries, zoos, botanic gardens, theatres, amusement parks, go-karting, indoor climbing, outdoor adventures and travel.
