Conor McGregor's highly-anticipated UFC return takes place tomorrow, January 18.

The Notorious will get back in the Octagon for the first time in more than 15 months, as he faces Donald Cerrone.

Ahead of the fight, the pair have been verbally sparring with each with each other, with Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone claiming that he is a better MMA fighter than McGregor.

Speaking to MMA Fighting, he said: “Do I feel like a better mixed martial artist? Absolutely. I feel like I’ve been in the trenches. I’ve been in the big fights. I’ve walked this path many, many times.

“This is my 51st MMA fight coming out of that tunnel. Literally, I’ve done it more than anybody.”

The Notorious was last seen in the UFC when losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov in October, 2018 and he will be hoping to get back to winning ways against Cerrone.

Eminem drops surprise album

American rapper Eminem dropped a surprise new album, Music To Be Murdered By, earlier this morning, without any promotion leading up to its release.

The album, which is the rapper's 11th, features the likes of Ed Sheeran, Q-Tip, Anderson .Paak and young rapper JUICE Wrld, who passed away in December.

It's been almost a decade since Eminem performed one of Northern Ireland's biggest ever gigs in front of 30,000 fans at Ward Park Bangor. Surely he's due a return?

James Nesbitt spotted filming in West Belfast for new BBC show

Residents in West Belfast welcomed film crews, production staff and our very own James Nesbitt to the area on Thursday for the filming of a new BBC series.

Described as a “compelling edge-of-the-seat thriller," Bloodlands will feature Nesbitt as a PSNI detective in the series written by Co Down man Chris Brandon.

And it's produced by TV veterans including Jed Mercurio who was involved in Line of Duty, Bodyguard and Derry Girls.

Sinn Féin Councillor Michael Donnelly told Belfast Live that there was "a great buzz in the area".

He added: "There was a really good atmosphere in Moyard on Thursday for the filming of Bloodlands. It's a new BBC drama series starring none other than Jimmy Nesbitt and it's been directed by the same producers of Line of Duty and Derry Girls.
