LUCKNOW: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday pitched for an awareness drive to bring in labourers within the ambit of unorganised labour social security board.
Yogi gave the directions while reviewing the registration of labourers and execution of schemes as envisaged by the board.
The Chief Minister said departments like urban development, rural development, Panchayati Raj, agriculture and revenue should coordinate among themselves to ensure that maximum possible labourers are provided benefits.
Notably, under the Chief Minister accidental insurance scheme, the state government gives a compensation of Rs 2 lakh besides a medical cover of Rs 5 lakh.
