'Enough' - Chelsea and Juventus fans agree about Maurizio Sarri after Udinese loss

Serie A giants Juventus had the chance to seal the Italian title last night (Thursday) when they took on 15th place Udinese away.

It was expected to be a straight forward win for Maurizio Sarri’s side, with 41 points separating the two teams in the table.

Fans would have been forgiven for thinking the title was won when Juve took the lead in the game after 42 minutes,, with Matthijs de Ligt putting them ahead just before the half-time break.

However, Udinese fought back, drawing level through Ilija Nestorovski in the 52nd minute before Seko Fofana completed the turnaround in the second minute of added time at the end of the game.

Despite still being odds on to win the league, the result and performance of the team bought about an angry response from onwatching fans, with the hashtag #SarriOut trending on Twitter.

Sarri joined Juventus from Chelsea in the summer after splitting opinion during his one season at Stamford Bridge.

Despite lifting the Europa League at the end of the season, inconsistent performances and the style of football put the Italian’s future in doubt.

So, it was perhaps no surprise that the then Chelsea boss jumped at the chance to join Juve, with the Blues not standing in his way.

After the latest poor performance of Juve, fans of both clubs have taken to social media to give their reaction and it seems that they are in full agreement over the former Chelsea boss.

After Sarri’s departure, Chelsea turned to club legend Frank Lampard to lead the club.

And the former midfielder has had a successful first season at Stamford Bridge, making it to the FA Cup final and being in the driving seat for a Champions League place going into the final game of the season.

As for Juventus, they will have another chance to seal the title when they take on Sampdoria on Sunday.
