Unbelievable photos have revealed the moment a python regurgitated an even bigger python, having somehow swallowed the enormous snake.
The shocking images were snapped by Amanda Jongedyk at the Parry Creek Farm Tourist Resort and Caravan Park in Western Australia, and shared on Facebook last week.
The page explained: “This beauty was at our house this morning. We relocate these big guys so they don't eat our chooks.
“We saw he'd had a good feed of something (yes we counted the chooks it wasn't one of them) and safely bagged him.
“Once he was out of the bag he started to regurgitate, that's when we saw the tail! Thinking it was a black whip snake - WOW were we wrong!”
As the python vomited up the mysterious creature, onlookers realised that its meal had been an even bigger python!
The page added: “It all happened very quick and he was off again safe and sound. Sadly he lost his lunch but we hope he grabs something else and the birds get his left overs.”
This isn’t the first time that a python has been documented eating a fellow python.
Last year, National Geographic captured footage of a rat thieving python challenging another python for his dinner, before deciding to eat him instead.
In other cases, pythons have been known to each even bigger animals - including leopards, and in rare cases, humans.
