Good things must come to an end and, let's face it, Leeds' parched lawns and trees could do with a drop of rain.
Thankfully – or disappointingly, depending on your outlook – the Easter heatwave is set to end after midday on Wednesday in a torrent of rain.
Britain baked in temperatures of up to 25°C over the weekend but thunderstorms could be on the way.
According to the Weather Channel, tomorrow (Tuesday) will be warm albeit cloudier with top temperatures of 19°C.
It will remain warm on Wednesday when temperatures could peak at 20°C – but there is a strong chance of rain from the afternoon onwards.
And the rain and showers are set to continue for the remainder of the week and the following week.
There is a fair chance of showers during the latter parts of Thursday and Friday when top temperatures of 15°C are forecast.
Saturday and Sunday are expected to be moderately wet with showers forecast for Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon and evening. Top temperatures are expected to reach 14°C.
Showers are forecast every day from Monday 29 April until Monday 6 May.
Temperatures will be cool to moderately warm falling as low as 5°C late on Wednesday 1 May and rising to as high as 16°C on Sunday 5 May and Monday 6 May.
