Enjoy Ad-Lib panto from comfort of your own home

Ad-Lib Arts has been unable to do its traditional staged pantomime this year due to current restrictions but the good news is it has produced a radio production of ‘Sleeping Beauty’ written by Tom Whalley.

It is the traditional story of a beautiful princess who is placed under a terrible curse by the most vile and wicked fairy in the land, Carabosse.

The dialogue for the show was recorded at The Echo Lab Studios and produced by Jack Glennie, a sound engineering student at Perth College.

Tickets are available to buy now at only £10 per household. The show can be streamed until December 31.

Vicky Glennie is directing again this year.

She said: “It’s been strange to direct via Zoom but we have a brilliant cast who have given it their all.

“There are so many considerations when directing audio only productions, especially pantomime which often contains a lot of visual gags.

“We are sure that with the changes Tom Whalley and myself have made, there will still be a huge amount of enjoyment from the production – just bring your imagination”
