English drug dealer not sentenced in Wales because he doesnt understand the accent

pA drug dealer from the West Midlands has reportedly refused to appear in court in Wales - because he doesn’t understand the Welsh accent./p pDwaine Campbell, from Wolverhampton, was arrested in Aberystwyth on suspicion of possessing heroin with intent to supply. He admitted the charges./ppThe 25-year-old was due to appear at Swansea Crown Court to be sentenced but refused to leave his prison cell, according to a href=http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/drug-dealer-england-refuses-appear-9737701emWales Online/em/a./ppHis barrister said Mr Campbell couldn’t understand what anyone was saying and argued that Welsh court staff could not understand his clients English accent either./pp“He is worried that if he is sentenced here, he will end up in a jail in Wales and have the same difficulties, she told the news website./ppApparently accepting this argument, the judge agreed to sentence Mr Campbell via video link so he can stay in the West Midlands./p
