English Championship side Middlesbrough are reportedly closing in on the signing of Celtic-linked striker David Strelec.
The 24-year-old currently plies his trade with Slovan Bratislava.
The Parkhead club are said to have had an offer rejected for Strelec in January as they sought to replace Kyogo Furuhashi.
Now, however, the Slovakian internationalist is closing in on a move to Boro, with the club having made a breakthrough in talks with Slovan Bratislava over the last 36 hours, according to The Northern Echo.
