England vs West Indies prediction: Cricket World Cup 2019, live stream, TV channel, line-ups, odds, tickets

England vs West Indies
2019 Cricket World Cup
Venue: Ageas Bowl
Date: Saturday, 8 June, 2019
Start: 10:30am BST

England's fourth World Cup clash takes them south to the Ageas Bowl to take on fellow big hitters the West Indies.

The two sides played out a memorable, high-scoring ODI series in the Caribbean this winter, which ended in a 2-2 draw, and more fireworks are expected, with two of the world's most explosive batting line-ups on display.

After the surprise defeat to Pakistan, England got their campaign back on track with a dominant victory over Bangladesh at Cardiff, and victory here would put them halfway to the knockout phase.

The Windies have latter stage ambitions of their own, having impressed in thrashing Pakistan and losing narrowly to Australia.

England vs West Indies team news

England are likely to make at least one change, with spinner Moeen Ali expected to return, having been dropped for the last game at the seamer-friendly Sophia Gardens.

Jos Buttler is an injury doubt after hurting his hip during the win over Bangladesh, and even if he plays, could do so as a specialist batsman, surrendering keeping duties to Jonny Bairstow.

Cricket World Cup: Five batsmen to watch

Result prediction: England win

Had these two sides met at Trent Bridge we might have been in for an absolute run-fest, but the Ageas Bowl's large boundaries should give the fielding sides half a chance.

Jos Buttler's fitness could be a key factor, but even without him, England should just have enough.
