Welcome to the Evening Standard’s LIVE coverage of day five of the third Test between England and the West Indies.
Play was abandoned without a ball being bowled on Monday, as the Manchester weather put a dent in England's chances of regaining the Wisden Trophy.
On Sunday, Stuart Broad had moved within touching distance of Test cricket's 500 club, topping and tailing a dominant day for England which put them within sight of victory, needing eight wickets to wrap up a 2-1 series win.
West Indies were set to resume on 10-2 chasing an unlikely 399 to win, but the rain's intervention means they now have a chance of claiming the draw that would see them retain the Wisden Trophy, if they can bat through the final day.
- Chase run out by superb Bess throw
- Woakes strikes in successive overs to remove Hope and Brooks
- Broad traps Brathwaite lbw to claim 500th Test wicket
- Rain puts England charge on hold
Malik Ouzia will bring you all the day four action from Old Trafford.
