England vs Switzerland player ratings: Danny Rose and Marcus Rashford help Three Lions get the job done

Marcus Rashford celebrates his goal for England ( AFP/Getty Images )

England ended a run of three consecutive defeats with a 1-0 win against Switzerland in a friendly at Leicester's King Power stadium.

Marcus Rashford added to his goal against Spain at Wembley and opened the scoring in the second half after a difficult first 45 minutes for the Three Lions. Kyle Walker's curled cross took out the Swiss back line and Rashford kept his composure to convert from close range.

Danny Rose had a very good game at left-back in Luke Shaw's absence, but Jack Butland and James Tarkowski had England a little nervous at the back.
