England's preparations for next year's World Cup in Japan resume with the first autumn international of the year at Twickenham.
Eddie Jones' side has been ravaged by injuries to key men, particularly in the forward positions, with the likes of Chris Robshaw, Joe Launchbury and Mako and Billy Vunipola ruled out.
These two sides met as recently as this summer, when the Springboks won a three-match Test series 2-1, with England's consolation 25-10 victory in Cape Town coming after the series had been decided.
This is the first of four games to be played by England over the next month, with home fixtures against New Zealand, Japan and Australia to come.

When is the game?
The game takes place on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Kick-off is at 3pm GMT.
Will it be shown on TV?
It will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Action channels and is available via Now TV with a day pass on offer for £7.99. Sky Sports subscribers can stream the match online via SkyGo and the SkyGo app.
Alternatively, you can follow all the action with Standard Sport's LIVE blog.
