England vs Scotland prediction: Harry Kane backed to repeat what happened last time

England are one step away from progressing to the knockout stages but Scotland are in the way.

The Three Lions are the favourites at 8/25 with Grosvenor Sport while the Scots are 19/2 and a draw is 22/5.

Gareth Southgate's looked in control against Croatia last time out and will be pleased to find the net after a number of chances did not go their way.

Meanwhile, Scotland will be looking to improve after losing in front of a home crowd against the Czech Republic.

Steve Clarke's side fell short in the final third and were punished for that - they said they let themselves down on that performance an if you took Andy Robertson's comments at full-time, you just know they will not go down without a fight.

Tips

  • Harry Kane to score two or more goals - 11/2
  • England to win and both teams to score - 29/10

The last match against Scotland was a memorable one to say the least back in 2017 at Hampden Park.

The Scots took a 2-0 lead before a Harry Kane equaliser in injury time saved England's blushes from losing in Scotland for the first time since 1985.

Kane has since grown a lot in the last four years and has made himself one of the best strikers in the world right now.

He had very little service to have an effort at goal against Croatia but I feel he will get a brace to catch up for the Golden Boot.
