England vs New Zealand Cricket World Cup final: Weather forecast, what time is it and TV details

England will play New Zealand in this year's Cricket World Cup final following their victory over Australia on Thursday.

England are firm favourites to land the trophy after they thrashed the Black Caps already in the group stage of the tournament.

And with the 2019 final being shown on free-to-air television, millions are expected to tune in to watch Eoin Morgan's England side who are appearing in a World Cup final for the first time since 27 years ago.

Whether you're basking in the grounds or watching it from the comfort of your own home, here's everything you need to know about the final of the Cricket World Cup 2019.

When is the Cricket World Cup final?

The final takes place on our home turf in England on Sunday July 14.

The match starts at 10.30am and is held at Lord's Cricket Ground in London.

What's the weather forecast?

The day gets off to a cloudy start but brightens up around lunchtime.

There's only a 10 per cent chance of rain so it's looking to keep dry for the big final.

It seems to be perfect weather conditions for a game because it's neither too sunny nor too hot in London on Sunday with temperatures peaking in the early twenties at 21 degrees.

What TV channel can you watch the final on?

Coverage of the final starts at 9am on Channel 4 before moving to More 4 at 1.15pm to accommodate the British Grand Prix.

It'll then return back to C4 after the Formula 1 race has finished.

If you're out and about on Sunday, or maybe driving back from a weekend away, you can tune in to BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra.

Who won the last Cricket World Cup?

The last tournament was four years ago in 2015, which saw Australia crowned champions for the fifth time.

New Zealand came in second after being defeated by seven wickets in the final.
