England vs Kosovo: Prediction, St Mary's tickets, live, TV channel, squad, odds - Euro 2020 qualifier preview

England vs Kosovo
Euro 2020 qualifier: Group A
Venue: St Mary's, Southampton

Kick-off time: 7:45pm BST, tonight

England are looking to make it four wins from four in Euro 2020 qualifying as Gareth Southgate's side host Kosovo in Southampton.

The Three Lions eased to a 4-0 victory over Bulgaria at Wembley on Saturday, with Harry Kane's hat-trick and a Raheem Sterling goal adding gloss to a scoreline that did not necessarily tell the whole story of the match.

Southgate has called for more urgency from his players ahead of their second qualifier in four days, and Kosovo - approved as members of Fifa and Uefa in 2016 - could prove tricky visitors as they sit second in Group A - especially Vedat Muriqi, who has been linked with Tottenham of late.

Read on for our comprehensive preview...

Team news and predicted line-up

Mason mount made his England debut off the bench against Bulgaria and could earn his first start at St Mary's.

Tyrone Mings and James Maddison are both vying for their first senior caps and could also start.

Jesse Lingard is unavailable after returning to Manchester United following an illness.

England XI: Pickford, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Maguire, Chilwell, Rice, Winks, Mount, Sancho, Kane, Sterling

England squad: Tom Heaton, Jordan Pickford, Nick Pope, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ben Chilwell, Joe Gomez, Michael Keane, Harry Maguire, Tyrone Mings, Danny Rose, Kieran Trippier, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Ross Barkley, Jordan Henderson, James Maddison, Mason Mount, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Declan Rice, Harry Winks, Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Raheem Sterling, Callum Wilson

Prediction: England 4-1 Kosovo

Kosovo have made a strong start to qualifying and are currently undefeated after four games, with two wins and two draws capping a remarkable rise since being welcomed by Uefa and Fifa just three years ago.

Kane and Southgate have both warned that despite the 4-0 scoreline against Bulgaria, England did not have it all their own way.

The Three Lions obviously have enough quality to secure another routine win, but may find things tough going if they make a slow start in Southampton.

Expect a tight first 45 minutes, and a few goals for England after the break.
