England vs Croatia: Uefa Nations League predictions, preview, tickets, TV, live stream, permutations, betting

England vs Croatia
Venue: Wembley Stadium
Uefa Nations League | League A, Group 4
Kick-off time: 2pm GMT

England have it all to play for as Croatia head to Wembley for today's mouth-watering Uefa Nations League group decider.

Tin Jedvaj's last-gasp goal secured Croatia a dramatic 3-2 win over Spain on Thursday night to blow open Group 4 in League A.

That result means anything can still happen in the group: a win for the Three Lions will send them through to next summer's finals, while a defeat against the World Cup finalists would see them relegated.

  • If England beat Croatia, they will win the group and progress to the Nations League finals, with Spain dropping into second place while Croatia go down.
  • If England draw 0-0 with Croatia, they will finish second in the group, with Spain reaching the finals and Croatia suffering relegation.
  • A score draw at Wembley will see England relegated, as of course will defeat to Croatia. Spain would be knocked into second spot if Zlatko Dalic's men triumph in London.
UEFA Nations League: How does the competition work?

Team news

England's entire 25-man squad trained on Saturday morning as Gareth Southgate fine tuned preparations for the Nations League encounter with Croatia.

Southgate is planning widespread changes from Thursday's 3-0 friendly win against the United States, where Wayne Rooney bid farewell to the national team with a 120th and final cap.

The 33-year-old has now left a group that has been bolstered by the return of Joe Gomez and Luke Shaw, having missed the USA friendly with minor knocks.

The duo trained on Friday and were again in action at Tottenham's training ground on Saturday as the 25-strong group knuckled down.
