England vs Australia tickets: ICC Cricket World Cup semi final ticket prices and availability

England take on Australia in the Cricket World Cup semi final at Edgbaston Cricket Ground on Thursday.

The England cricket team qualified third in the group stage and will take on a David Warner-inspired Australian side that only dropped from first place to second in the final game of qualification.

The Australian's shock defeat to South Africa meant many England fans had already purchased tickets to the other semi-final, assuming England would face India at Old Trafford.

After a mad scramble for tickets the stadium is now sold out but that has not stopped resale sites listing tickets for astronomical sums.

Edgbaston tickets are priced from £164 for a single ticket on resale site Stubhub , with Priory Stand ticket starting from around £170 and Raglan Stand seats going for £182.

The most expensive tickets on the site are listed for an astonishing £2,255 at the time of writing but there are unlikely to be takers for that seat.

South Stand and Eric Hollies seats are the most expensive available with prices over £1,000 for two tickets.

However, the ICC has warned against buying resale tickets and says tickets will be listed for resale for fans who have registered on the official website . They will be listed until midday the day before the match for those who want to resell their seats.
