England vs Australia LIVE stream and channel: How to watch World Cup quarter-final on TV and online for free

Following a busy Ashes summer, England and Australia lock horns once again on Saturday as the old rivals go head to head in the first of the weekend's Rugby World Cup quarter-finals in Oita.

Unbeaten Pool C winners England - who will seek revenge for their costly group-stage defeat on home soil in 2015 - should be refreshed after a two-week break that came after their match against France was one of three cancelled due to the threat of Typhoon Hagibis.

Australia beat Georgia in Shizuoka on Friday, but were ultimately unable to claim top spot in Pool D as Wales - who crucially held off the Wallabies in a Tokyo thriller last month - subsequently laboured to victory over minnows Uruguay to tee up a meeting with France.

Eddie Jones is looking to maintain his excellent record against his native country as England boss, having steered the Red Rose to six successive wins over Michael Cheika's side since 2016.

TV channel and live stream information

In the United Kingdom, the match can be watched for free - providing you have a TV license - on ITV, with coverage beginning at 7:30am BST.

It will also be available to view live online via the ITV Hub.

You can follow all the action and analysis on Standard Sport's LIVE blog with rugby correspondent Will Macpherson in Oita.
