England unveil new men's home and away kits ahead of Nations League games

England have revealed their new home and away kits ahead of the upcoming UEFA Nations League games against Iceland and Denmark.

The Nike-produced strips take inspiration from classic designs from the past, with the white home shirt featuring a dark blue crew neck and side stripes and the blue away shirt inspired by the vintage 1990 edition.

The names and numbers on both shirts are printed in an exclusive font which is said to be inspired by the Three Lions' identity.

The likes of England stars Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho posed in the new gear, and the shirts seem to be going down well with supporters.

One fan posted on Twitter : "Big fan of the new England home kit" while another added "I need that new England kit."

Some others were less impressed, however, with one adding: "It's decent, but England away kit should always be red" while another said "The home kit is boring and the away kit is just wrong."

Scott Munson, Nike's VP of football apparel, said: “There is a feel-good factor surrounding the England team and we wanted to capture all that vibrancy and try some new things.

“Their collection balances a classic home identity with an adventurous, eye-catching away kit.”

England kick off their Nations League campaign when they take on Iceland in Reykjavík on Saturday, followed by Denmark in Copenhagen on Tuesday.

Jack Grealish was called up to Gareth Southgate's squad for the first time on Monday after Marcus Rashford and Harry Winks pulled out with injury, while Conor Coady, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Kalvin Phillips could also earn their senior international debuts.

The kits, along with a range of trainingwear, are now available to pre-order via EnglandStore.com
