Under-21 Euros - LIVE!
England’s Young Lions kick off their tilt at the European Championships tonight as the first part of the re-arranged tournament kicks off.
Switzerland are the first of three group-stage games for Aidy Boothroyd’s side, before the tournament is put on hold until the end of May when the knockout stage will conclude.
Slovenia and Hungary are co-hosts, with England Under-21s group-stage games all taking place in the former. As well as Switzerland, England will face Portugal and Croatia in Group D.
England are looking to improve on their showing from two years ago, when the Young Lions were knocked out after taking only one point from their three group games.
Boothroyd again has a talented squad at his disposal, including the likes of Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi, Tottenham loanee Oliver Skipp and Arsenal pair Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe.
