England training pictures: Raheem Sterling and Joe Gomez on show 24 hours after bust-up

Raheem Sterling and Joe Gomez both took part in England training on Tuesday following their bust-up at St. George's Park.

The pair clashed at the squad's training centre on Monday, the Football Association confirmed , a day after Liverpool beat Manchester City in a crucial title race showdown at Anfield.

Sterling and Gomez had to be separated during the game and the former is understood to have reignited the bad blood on Monday before apologising to his Liverpool counterpart.

The forward was subsequently dropped by England manager Gareth Southgate for Thursday's Euro 2020 qualifier against Montenegro.

Both Sterling and Gomez took part in training on Tuesday ahead of England's 1,000th international fixture, which will be marked by special celebrations.

A draw on Thursday will be enough to seal England's place at next summer's European Championship, where they have been picked as one of 12 hosts with both semi-finals and final being held at Wembley.
