England team revealed for Czech Republic clash at Wembley

England have had their fair share of injury problems ahead of their first European Qualifier against the Czech Republic at Wembley tonight (Friday).

Marcus Rashford, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabian Delph, Reuben Loftus-Cheek and John Stones have all withdrawn from the squad due to injuries.

As a result, Gareth Southgate is set to hand teenage sensation Jadon Sancho his first competitive start for his country as part of a dangerous front three.

Sancho has won three caps but played only 30 minutes since bursting onto the scene with Borussia Dortmund this season.

He's likely to get the nod to start alongside Harry Kane and in-form Raheem Sterling ahead of Chelsea young gun Callum Hudson-Odoi, who could make his debut off the bench.

New tournament means ANOTHER new England as Gareth Southgate mines youth gems

Michael Keane is set to start in central defence alongside Harry Maguire with Stones ruled out, whilst Maguire's Leicester City team-mate Ben Chilwell will likely start at left-back.

Under-fire goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is expected to get the nod between the sticks despite question marks about his recent form.

Jordan Henderson, Eric Dier and Dele Alli are anticipated to form a midfield trio as Southgate's side aim to get their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign off to a winning start.

England probable XI : Pickford, Walker, Keane, Maguire, Chilwell, Henderson, Dier, Alli, Sterling, Kane, Sancho

Czech Republic : Pavlenka, Kaderabek, Celustka, Kalas, Novak, Soucek, Vydra, Kral, Darida, Jankt, Schick
