England could be without their two leading Test wicket takers when they face India at Lords on Thursday, with James Anderson and Stuart Broad both major doubts.
Broad suffered an injury to his right calf during a training session on Tuesday and is expected to miss the second Test against India.
Now, Anderson could also be ruled out of the Test after missing England's training session on Wednesday with a muscle problem.
Anderson is said to have a 50-50 chance of featuring and did not bowl in the session, with England's medical team instead assessing the extent of his injury.

If the 39-year-old is ruled out as a result of his injury, England could line up without both Broad and Anderson in a home Test match for the first time since June 2012.
The last time England played a Test without both of their star bowlers was in October 2016 against Bangladesh, when Anderson was ruled out of the tour with a shoulder injury and Broad was rested for the second Test.

England have already had their fast bowling resources majorly depleted through injury, with Olly Stone, Chris Woakes and Jofra Archer all currently out of action.
Stone suffered a stress fracture in his back in June and will not be fit for at least six months, while Woakes is missing with a heel problem.
Archer was recently ruled out for the remainder of the year with an elbow fracture and all-rounder Ben Stokes is currently absent after taking an indefinite break from the sport to prioritise his mental well-being.
Lancashire quick Saqib Mahmood has been called up as cover and could be in line to make his Test debut this summer.
Durham speedster Mark Wood is expected to play in the second Test and was in line for a recall before the injuries to Broad and Anderson occurred as part of England's rotation policy.
England are also expected to pick Moeen Ali, following his recall to the squad.

Ali offers England greater flexibility in the absence of Stokes and could either be picked as one of four bowlers or as a genuine all-rounder and bat at seven.
Should England choose the latter option, Mahmood or Craig Overton could come into the side if Anderson is ruled out.
Batsman Haseeb Hameed is also in line to play his first Test in over four years after a rough patch saw him leave Lancashire and join Nottinghamshire, where he has thrived.
England captain Joe Root believes Hameed is well-placed to make the most of a second chance at Test cricket, saying: "It takes a huge strength of character to be able to go through something like that and get yourself back into the position that he is in right now.
"His work ethic is outstanding. He thinks well about the game and he’s added shots to what is a very strong defence and has turned himself into a brilliant player.
"If he gets an opportunity I’m sure he’ll look to take it with both hands and try to make the position his own in this team."
