With Gareth Southgate having announced his provisional 33 players for the Euros next month, debate has already begun as to which seven players should miss out on the final 26 spots.
With 12 defenders included up to this point, a lot of players will still be holding their breathe despite their inclusion so far, with their fate only really to be known in two weeks time.
With obvious inclusions for Harry Maguire and John Stones, there was the surprise picks of Ben White and Ben Godfrey, which have raised many an eyebrow.
Even with the late addition of three extra players, there was still no space for Patrick Bamford or Danny Ings, both of whom had the backing of many pundits in the build-up to the announcement.
Now, Gareth Southgate must whittle this 33 down, telling us his final 26 on June 1.
