England's Rugby League fixture against Fiji which was due to take place in mid-October has been rescheduled for next year amid the Covid pandemic.
The match was due to be a warm-up fixture for both sides ahead of the Rugby League World Cup, which was itself postponed for a year after Australia and New Zealand pulled out of the tournament.
The competition was set to take place across several stadium in England.
England, who are coached by Shaun Wane, were due to play against the Fijians on October 15 at the Crown Oil Arena in Rochdale, a week before the World Cup was meant to start.

However, the cancellation of the tournament made that fixture untenable for the Fijians, who would have to travel halfway across the world solely for one match.
The Rugby Football League (the governing body for the sport in England), Rochdale and the Fijian authorities reached an agreement on Tuesday to play that fixture on a similar date in 2022 at the same venue.
The match was also due to be part of Rochdale Hornets' 150th birthday celebrations, with the club being one of the founding members of what was then called the Northern Rugby Football Union in 1895 after their founding in 1871.
Steve Kerr, the CEO of the Rochdale Hornets, released a statement expressing his gratitude to the various parties involved for handling the tricky situation.
Kerr wrote: "After the initial disappointment that the RLWC will be postponed, I'm delighted to reach an initial agreement to reschedule our 150th celebratory event to 2022.
"Whilst the finer details are still to be agreed, thanks must go to the RFL and Don Natable at FNRL for their support.

"Work can now continue to make the England v Fiji game an incredibly special event for all fans, and I thank the thousands of people who have already purchased tickets, hospitality and sponsorship for their support, patience and understanding."
England had been set to face Samoa, France and Greece in their group matches at the World Cup before it was pushed back.
The moving of the Fiji match and the World Cup means that there are currently no fixtures in sight for the team.
