England's Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell are self-isolating after coming in close contact with Scotland's Billy Gilmour.
The Three Lions drew 0-0 with Scotland at Wembley on Friday evening and Gilmour has subsequently tested positive for COVID-19, which has forced his Chelsea teammates Mount and Chilwell to now isolate after they came in close contact with the youngster.
All of England's 26-man squad and coaching staff have tested negative for COVID-19 amid the news of Gilmour's positive test, but as Mount and Chilwell shared an embrace with Gilmour after the game, UEFA raised concerns over the pair.
NHS guidelines state you still need to self-isolate for 10 full days if you get a negative test result and you've been in close contact with someone who tested positive, which applies to England's Mount and Chilwell.
“As a precaution at this time and in consultation with Public Health England [PHE], Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount are isolating after interaction with Scotland player Billy Gilmour at Friday’s match," the Football Association (FA) said.
“The pair will be kept away from the rest of the England players and wider support team, pending further discussions with PHE."
