England's coronavirus case rates rise for the first time since March

With Covid restrictions all but lifted throughout the UK; lockdowns, mass rule changes and compulsory mask-wearing are turning into a distant memory. However, for the first time since March Covid case rates are up across the UK.

And in Nottingham, with the government relaxing Covid restrictions in recent months it is no longer an obligation to report cases of Covid-19. However, a per the government's interactive coronavirus map there are many areas close to the city that have rates above 100 cases per 100,000 people. Cotgrave is the worst-hit area across the whole of Nottinghamshire with 15 confirmed cases at a rate of 180.7 per 100,000 in the seven days to June 5.
