England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford spotted in crowd watching Gerry Cinnamon at This is Tomorrow

Jordan Pickford appeared to be enjoying himself in a surprise appearance in the crowd at This is Tomorrow.

England's number one missed his side's 3-0 loss to Aston Villa on Saturday evening after picking up a shoulder injury.

Just hours later he was spotted by fans in his native North East with pals watching headline act Gerry Cinnamon in Newcastle.

Pickford could be seen in the sell-out crowd jumping around and singing along to hits such as 'Lullaby' and 'Belter'.

The 27-year-old's appearance prompted fellow spectators to get their phones out to capture the moment on camera.

The former Sunderland stopper even posed for pictures with stunned fans during the concert.

It is clear that Pickford was in his element during the electric atmosphere at Exhibition Park.
