'Scotland get battered everywhere they go' England fans troll Steve Clarke’s side

It's the morning after the night before for Scotland supporters following the latest performance to forget.

The national team toiled on a dreary night in Moscow as red-hot Russia netted four goals in the second half to leave Steve Clarke shellshocked.

Heavy defeats are becoming the norm and the abject display is compounded by the fact the other Home Nations were putting up a fight elsewhere.

And Scotland's latest sobering display didn't go unnoticed by a merry band of travelling England supporters in Prague.

Getting it tight comes with the territory and the Three Lions fans, in the Czech capital for their Euro 2020 qualifying clash on Friday, savoured rubbing salt into the wounds of the Auld Enemy with a ditty that won't win any prizes for originality.

They chanted: "Scotland get battered everywhere they go, everywhere they go."

Scotland supporters would love nothing more than taking pops at their old rivals but the current state of our national team means any response would fall flat.

Leigh Griffiths' incredible free-kick double had England on the ropes in 2017 but the fortunes of both teams have gone in different directions since that Hampden thriller.
